When resizing the dialog, the notebook list fails to resize automatically

Current behaviour

When dragging to resize the dialog, the sidebar does not automatically adjust its size, although it does resize automatically on macOS.

Expected behaviour

No response

Hope to maintain the same behavior as on macOS, where the sidebar automatically resizes along with the dialog when its size is adjusted.

It's not clear what behaviour you expect? (and it would help it if you actually fill up the "Expected behaviour" section). You say for example that "the sidebar does not automatically adjust its size" but that's contradicted by your video
