I know about these problem reports and this isn't the first time, but I don't know why you're taking so long to resolve the issues. I'm trying to launch and play Modric smoothly, but I have to play with the Prism Launcher, which is similar to it. I don't want anything other than Modric on Windows. I left Windows because I was fed up with the performance and bugs.

Title: Modrinth App (Flatpak) fails to launch Minecraft – missing DISPLAY / GLFW init error Description: I'm running the Modrinth App as a Flatpak on a Wayland session (KDE Plasma, CachyOS). When launching Minecraft (Fabric), the game fails to start with the following error: java.lang.IllegalStateException: Failed to initialize GLFW [GLFW 0x1000E] X11: The DISPLAY environment variable is missing Also: Can't getDevice() before it was initialized Environment details: OS: CachyOS (Arch-based) Session: Wayland (KDE Plasma) Modrinth installed via Flatpak (Flathub) Flatpak permissions include both x11 and wayland sockets Observations: $DISPLAY, $WAYLAND_DISPLAY, and $XDG_SESSION_TYPE are correctly set in the system Flatpak sandbox shows DISPLAY=:0, but Minecraft still fails to detect it The same version of Modrinth works correctly when launched via AppImage (outside Flatpak) Conclusion: This seems to be a Flatpak sandbox / environment issue where the Minecraft process inside Modrinth cannot access or inherit the correct display variables (X11/Wayland), causing GLFW initialization to fail.
